Website Issues Monitor - Monitor multiple websites for a range of issues without needing to visit each website manually. This tool helps you detect websites that are online but still broken, incomplete, or returning visible errors.


Description:
Monitor an unlimited number of websites for issues without needing to visit each site manually. Customise which errors to detect and how often each site is checked.

How to use:
1. Add sites to monitor – Either type or copy and paste your site(s) manually, or import them from a text or CSV file if you want to add them in bulk.

2. Save sites for future use – Click "Add pasted URLs" to add all sites to the monitoring list and save them for later. Each site is checked to see if it is in a valid URL format and corrected automatically where possible. For example, by adding https:// if it is missing.

3. Viewing your sites – Once the sites have been added, they are displayed in the "Websites" panel. If you have added the same site more than once, select the duplicate and click the "Remove Selected" button to remove it and update the saved list.

4. Manually checking website status – To manually re-check one or more sites, select them in the "Websites" list and click "Analyse Selected". To check all listed sites, click "Analyse All".




5. Monitoring options – Configure how websites are checked and what should be treated as an issue.

Check SSL expiry – Checks each HTTPS website’s SSL certificate and reports if the certificate has expired or is close to expiring, so you can fix it before visitors see browser security warnings.

Detect soft 404s – Looks for pages that appear to be missing or broken even though the server still returns a successful status such as 200 OK. This helps identify "page not found" style content that does not use a proper error code.

Min readable content – Sets the minimum amount of readable text a page should contain before it is treated as suspicious. This can help detect pages that are blank, only partially loading, or returning very little visible content.

Enable schedule – Automatically runs checks on all enabled websites at the interval you choose, so you do not need to manually click Analyse each time.

Minutes – Sets how often the automatic schedule runs when scheduled monitoring is enabled. Enter the number of minutes you want between each full check cycle.

Automatic checking disabled / enabled – Shows whether scheduled monitoring is currently turned on or off, so you can quickly confirm if background checks are active.

Overall status – Shows a high-level summary of the most recent monitoring run, such as whether all checked sites look OK or whether errors or warnings were detected.

Ready – Displays the current activity of the tool. While checks are running, it shows progress (for example which site is being checked). When idle, it shows that the tool is ready.



6. Export results – Click the Export Last Results button to export data for review, reporting, or archiving at a later date and time.



Viewing Results:
View results for one or more sites using "Run Summary", "Sites With Errors" or "Detailed Results".





Customise Your Own Rules:
Want to add or remove some rules to customise the results to fit your needs? You can in a couple easy steps.
1. Add Rule – Click the "Add Rule" button to add a new rule.

2. Remove Rule – Click the "Remove Rule" button to remove an existing rule.

3. Save Rules – Once you finish adding/removing rules, click the "Save Rules" button. This will save the rule changes you made and will be used next time the program runs.
